A Poet, A Florist, A Mixologist, A Hair Stylist, Two Artists
One unique experiential event created through the amalgamation of the different skillsets of the abovementioned professionals.
A Conversation of Birds puts together specially composed poetry readings with floral sculptures, original cocktail creations, video art, interactive art and visual art, all coalesced into one single presentation.
Revolving around the theme of Birds, Shu Hoong YONG has composed entrancing pieces of poetry for a ‘live’ reading. Reuben LI will showcase a sculpture and engage in a ‘live’ demonstration of an arrangement— both composed using botanical ingredients. Steve DIXON will be screening three video artworks, and has also concocted a flight of four cocktails to be served during this event. Chester WONG will create an interactive artwork for guests to complete on site. Finally, Fiona KOH and Warren KHONG will exhibit visual and text-based artworks.
