About the event
Whisky and Foxtrot, in collaboration with PAKAT, is proud to present Neat Work, an exhibition of art and of fine spirits.
A play on the term ‘neat’, which in terms of drinking spirits means to not dilute or to mix with anything else, and ‘work’ referring to the artworks themselves, Neat Work is the amalgamation of an art exhibition and a fine spirits tasting masterclass. Each session is a private affair, limited to only 10 guests. There, guests will be introduced to each of the artworks and their accompanying fine spirits, enjoying the experience of viewing the artworks whilst tasting the selected whiskies/ rums.
Neat Work is a guided exhibition, with guests being introduced to each of the artworks and the inspirations, concepts and stories behind the works, and also to the distillation processes and tasting notes behind each of the fine spirits. And finally, to how each fine spirit was chosen and paired with each artwork. Instead of generally available official bottlings, each of the fine spirits showcased at Neat Work are limited edition independent bottlings at cask strength by Singaporeans.
This edition of Neat Work features three artists - Fiona Koh, Tay Bak Chiang and Warren Khong, and two independent bottlers - M&E Drinks (M&E) and Malt, Grain & Cane (MGC). This first of its kind exhibition pairs fine spirits together with artworks for a complementary affair. Six artworks will be paired with six whiskies/ rums, each spirit specially chosen by the independent bottler to match the specific artwork for a curated experience.
